Hospice care, with the Medicare record
6,668 Medicare-certified hospices. Each listing shows Medicare's family survey rating where there is one and links to the full Care Compare record. Nobody pays to be ranked.
Hospice comes to your parent
Hospice care is given where your parent lives: at home, in assisted living or in a nursing home. Each hospice is listed at its office address, but its team travels across a wide area, so a hospice based in the next town may serve your parent, and one close by may not.
Call and ask whether they serve your parent's address before you decide.
About the ratings
Star ratings come from the CAHPS Hospice Survey, which asks family caregivers about their experience after a loved one's hospice care. Medicare doesn't show a rating for every hospice, often because there weren't enough survey responses.
